BOARD OF AIRPORT COMMISSIONERS HOLDS EVENING MEETING IN VAN NUYS

(Van Nuys, CA November 9, 2000) - The Board of Airport Commissioners for Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) will hold a regularly scheduled board meeting in Van Nuys at 7 p.m., Tuesday, November 14, at the Airtel Plaza Hotel. A presentation on the Van Nuys FlyAway Bus Terminal Improvement Project will be among the agenda items. VAN NUYS AIRPORT ADOPTS NEW NOISE RESTRICTION NON-ADDITION RULE EFFECTIVE JUNE 10

Van Nuys Airport (VNY) officials are notifying pilots of a new noise restriction, the Non-Addition Rule, that took effect on Saturday, June 10, 2000. The Non-Addition Rule is an amendment to the existing Van Nuys Noise Abatement and Curfew Ordinance that was adopted by the Los Angeles City Council in 1981.
